Our missions

Founded in the 80s as a not-for-profit association, CREIPAC became a Caledonian public institution in 1992.

For more than 30 years, CREIPAC has been offering:

  • French as a foreign language courses
  • French Immersion programs
  • French exams, such as DELF & DALF, TCF & DAEFLE.

Since 2022, CREIPAC is offering:

  • Holiday revision courses in French, in English and Japanese.
  • English classes for adults.

CREIPAC contributes to promote the French language and “francophone” values in Asia-Pacific on behalf of the New Caledonian governement.

As such, CREIPAC organizes cultural events such as “La Semaine de la Langue Française & de la Francophonie and “The Forum Francophone d’Asie-Pacifique”.

CREIPAC has also strengthened its ties with the Asia-Pacific network of Alliances Françaises and Instituts Français, French Ambassies and French as Foreign language associations.

Furthermore, CREIPAC has developped cooperation in various fields with regional organisations, such as Organisation International de la Francophonie (OIF) and France Volontaire.

Last but not least, CREIPAC works closely with local institutions, such as NC Vice-Rectorat, to help to promote exchanges, serving young people.

Our vision

CREIPAC is a public institution dedicated to promoting not only the French language but also  French and “francophone” values, such as linguistic and cultural diversity. We encourage and foster active, open connections between NC people and people from Asia-Pacific.
