AMEDEE LIGHTHOUSE DAY TRIP

The Amedee Lighthouse Islet is a popular stopover for visitors to New Caledonia. The Mary D team welcomes you aboard its ship to make your day unforgettable. Visit of the lighthouse, glass bottom boat, Pacific dance show and buffet lunch are on the programme. Departure at 8.30 am from the Moselle harbour!

BLUE RIVER PARK GUIDED TOUR

This is the most popular park in New Caledonia, undoubtedly the most incredible one. Located in the south of the Grande Terre, the Blue River Park promises a truly exotic scenery in a very unusual setting. Nature here has not changed for millions of years!

 

 

VISIT THE AQUARIUM

A visit to the aquarium will allow you to meet the main species found in New Caledonia. Come at 3pm to watch the feeding of the turtles, a volunteer from the aquarium will explain to you how to differentiate between the different species of turtles in the territory.

GASTRONOMY

BOUGNA COOKING CLASS

You will have the opportunity to visit the Noumea market, to talk in French with local market gardeners and to cook the famous traditional Melanesian dish yourself! During the cooking, a weaving workshop with Nhamena, a Kanak “mother” will be offered. Nhamena will share her culture with you. This is an opportunity to use the lexicon that you have seen in class but above all to share a convivial meal together!
